Personality and Abilities
What we've seen of Mysetery has shown him to be a mostly easygoing and friendly character. Despite his possibile age, he is very comfortable in the modern world, in vehicles, with various kinds of media, and especially with food. He's also shown to have a good intuition and keen sense of danger, as well as a desire to look after his friends. He's decent at keeping secrets, most notably his true nature, and the events surrounding the disappearance of one of his teammates. He may also be a little conceited, as his favorite animal is listed as himself.
Currently living as the dog of his best friend, Vivi, Mystery doesn't seem to have much worth taking a second look at. He's comfortable around people and loves food, stating chicken as his favorite even though he may or may not be lying. He's got a fairly large appetite for a medium-small dog and isn't above helping himself to any unattended food that catches his eye, without so much as a word to the owner of said food. Even finding a fully stocked fridge in a creepy old mansion is reason enough to stop for a sandwich after being chased and nearly losing his head.
As a member of the MYstery Skulls, he's not exactly a fearless investigator. But he's not a coward either and has a keen sense for when things aren't as they should be. This was most evident in the cave exploration where he not only sensed that something was wrong, but also that it was more dangerous for Arthur and Lewis. He has no problem fleeing from danger, but likely wouldn't if it left his friends at risk.
Outside of work, Mystery enjoys watching comedies and drama, and also plays videos. He seems especially fond of media that references Japanese folklore, which is shown in the fact that two of his favorite things are GeGeGe no KitarÅ, which has been adapted from a manga into several anime and video games, and a live-action movie, and the game Okami. He's also a fan of Taiko drums and can possibly play them.
